Grandma Ruby's Room

Jean and I have had the honor of working with a couple on their family farm house
in Lisman, Alabama for the past several years.
While they have completed several very swank additions which include a superb master suite and a phenomenal family room, they wanted to keep Grandma Ruby's room (in the original house structure) as rustic and true to the time as possible.
A queen size bed was needed in the room, however a "new" bed - just wouldn't  fit the bill.
So, we constructed this bed from antique corbels, old barn wood, an old door, and two lights from Lowe's that seem period perfect.
We also took this old door and made a hat rack, as the client has most fond memories of
Grandma Ruby always in a hat.
May you make many memories this week!!
Have a good one!!
