A Happy Home

This house is so very dear to me, and not just because I love the people who live here so much.  It is a home that always has a happy feeling, so bright and full of color.  The lady of the house is not only family, she is also one of my favorite people to work for.  She has an exceptional sense of style and more ideas and energy than anyone I have ever met.

I will start upstairs, I find the simplicity of this room so cheerful.

One of my favorite things in this room are the whippets that I dressed up with their very own jewels!

There is a sweet little music room off of this bedroom.  The man of the house is a spring chicken at the age of 81 and takes guitar lessons, how cool is that?! I want to be like him when I grow up :-)

The next guest bedroom is cozy and comfortable as well.  Local seamstress Anna Sutton did a knock out job on the everything from the bed crown, bedding, windows, and pillows.

The chaise lounge was recovered in a sassy, green velvet, leopard and sports a fantastic pillow with a (frog) tassel from Houles of Paris.

SO much more of this house to come.  It's packed full of wonderful things.  Something beautiful is always going on here.

  Have a nice Sunday!

Terie, I think this was your best post to date! Loved seeing this beautiful home. I like to take sneak peeks at other peoples homes and gardens. Thanks for sharing it! Denise
